Barcode Labels

Barcode labels are a standard method of identifying the manufacturer and product category of a particular item. They are comprised of a series of vertical bars of varying widths, each width representing a different digit, zero through nine. Barcodes can be read by a laser scanner, are commonly found on consumer products, and are usually utilized for inventory control.

Consecutive Numbering

Consecutively numbered labels are traditionally used as a method of identifying products in a unique way. Adding a barcode to the same label allows the end-user to track products, record the date of manufacture, monitor engineering revisions, and provide other information that can be linked to the sequential number of the product.
