The Importance ofGiving Back To Our Community

We give back to the community in a variety of ways, whether it’s donating to local charities, raising money for a specific cause, or volunteering our time. We’ve also found our employees really enjoy collaborating for a united cause.

The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation

What it is: The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation supports pediatric medical education, pediatric-focused research, and programs that help prevent childhood diseases and injuries.

How we helped: We organized a 5K walk-a-thon through the city of Center Line, where our headquarters is located. We also donated $50 for each employee who participated and reached our goal of donating a total of $10,000.

Adopt-A-Child Project

What it is: The North End Youth Improvement Council’s (NEYIC) annual Adopt-A-Child For Christmas Program provides gifts of winter clothes and toys to underprivileged children.

How we helped: We adopted several families to donate items to. Our employees made a concerted effort to ensure each child in our adopted families received the necessary winter apparel to comfortably enjoy the weather and new toys.

Suite Dreams Project

What it is: Suite Dreams Project provides seriously ill children with a dream bedroom to relax and recover in, while helping to minimize the stress of hospitalization.

How we helped: We sponsored 5-year-old Chad who was diagnosed with medulloblastoma (cancer of the brain and spine). Chad’s dream was to have a Transformers-themed bedroom. Our “Dream Team” donated their time, money, energy, and key items necessary for the success and completion of this project. Through an amazing team effort, we were happy to be able to present Chad with a bedroom makeover.
