Pressure sensitive labels are designed to adhere without the use of heat or moisture. They have a wide variety of consumer, commercial and industrial applications; and are rapidly gaining market share from wet glue applied labels.

Dry gum adhesive labels and tags require the use of an adhesive or construction to keep them in place on the product. For example, a paper label affixed to a glass jar of pasta sauce.
