	THE CHALLENGE SPECIAL ADHESION TO TEXTURED SURFACES Adhere static electricity warning label to textured bedliner. Overcome effects of mold releases and plasticizers that complicate adhesion surface. THE SOLUTION DEVELOP PROPRIETARY LABEL CONSTRUCTION Use Modeling techniques to define new design space for polyethylene substrate. Examine key urethane, acrylic, and silicone chemistries to formulate custom adhesive. Test inks for fade and effects of other environmental degradation (salt spray, humidity, and temperature cycles). Test label construction for destructive peel. Optimize converting process for coating and die-cutting consistency. THE RESULTS INCREASED EFFICIENCY & PRODUCT QUALITY GAINS Tier 1 bedliner supplier eliminates need to manually wipe off “oily” mold release before applying warning label. Robust label construction reduces field failure (labels cannot be cleanly pulled or peeled off.)
