Flexographic Label Printing
Our flexographic presses can print up to 17" wide and handle up to 12 colors, all while delivering the same consistent quality you've come to expect. These presses can be used to print on a variety of substrates including paper, film and metallic films. Our flexographic presses can be combined with in-line processes, such as rotary screen and foil, thereby allowing for highly customizable, cost-effective solutions.
Digital Label Printing
Our digital presses offer a similar cost-effective solution for short runs and high-quality jobs with quick changeover capability and the elimination of print tools. Digital can be combined with other offline processes, such as foil stamping and screen printing, to obtain special effects on a variety of substrates.
Combination Label Printing
We can combine our printing technologies in a single pass on the press to create a dynamic looking label or package.

Barcodes & Consecutive Numbering Label Printing
We offer a variety of numbering formats from static barcodes to consecutive numbering, all to meet our customers' needs. Static bar codes, such as UPC Codes, provide fast product identification at the point of sale. Whitlam prints bar codes in conformance with any specification. Hot & Cold Foil Label Printing
Our foil process is combined with printing to achieve a multitude of visual effects. Hot stamping allows for very fine lines and intricate design elements. However, initial costs are lower for the cold foil process because a flexo plate is used rather than an engraved stamping tool.
Embossing and Embossed Labels Printing
Embossing creates a 3-D graphic that is appealing to consumers. The term "impressing" enables one to distinguish an image lowered into the surface of a material, which is different from an image raised out of the surface of a material. Both are considered "embossing," though.
Extended Text Label Printing
Extended Text & Booklet Labels are produced on rolls for manual or automatic application. Whether you want a foldout (pamphlet) or booklet label with a die cut easy-open tab and/or re-sealable features, we have many different formats for extended text labels. We custom construct our extended text labels to fit your products' needs.
Piggyback Label Printing
A piggyback label is constructed with a dry release label on top of another label, allowing for the top label to be peeled back or removed without residue on the bottom label. This construction is used for on-pack, instant redeemable coupons, promotions, and games or sweepstakes.
