Richard Shaieb began his career at Whitlam Label in 1975 as a press operator, two years after his father purchased the company. Through self tutelage, Richard came to understand the inner workings of a press and the entire production process. One major factor in his achievements was his creative ability to continually challenge the status quo, by developing unique improvements to the manufacturing equipment. Through this experience, he was encouraged to continue his education in mechanical and electrical engineering, becoming the Vice President of Operations in 1985, and ultimately taking on his current position of president and CEO in 2000.
