Whitlam Label Company enjoys giving back to our community, and we see that it brings great charisma throughout our facility.

We give back in a variety of ways. Whether we are donating to local charities, raising contributions for a specific cause, or donating our time; we know that it is very important to stick together as a community.

The Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation

The Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation

Whitlam Label Company organized a 5K walk-a-thon for Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation where friends, family and co-workers spent time together in a healthy activity while making a valuable contribution to the community. This walk-a-thon raises money when participants in the walk solicit donations prior to the event. Participants were able and encouraged to collect donations and/or pledges which then went to Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation. Whitlam Label's goal was to raise $10,000, which we accomplished, thanks to the help of all of our friends, family and neighbors.

Whitlam Label Company donated $50.00 for every EMPLOYEE that participated in the actual walk-a-thon. All participants enjoyed a fun 5K walk throughout the Center Line area. After the walk-a-thon was completed, all participants were invited to join us back at Whitlam for lunch and post walk activities such as inflatables for the kids, a dunk tank, music, prizes and much more. Suite Dreams Project

Suite Dreams Project

Whitlam Label Company reached out to a local charity in our community called The Suite Dreams Project. This charity provides seriously ill children with a dream bedroom to relax and recover in, while helping to minimize the stress of hospitalization. The children they help are often confined to their bedrooms for most of the time and struggle with a serious illness or terminal disease. Suite Dreams Project helps children with their recovery by making them feel comfortable and happy at home. Families helped by the project generally cope much better than other families. Whitlam Label decided to get involved with the Suite Dreams Project and sponsor a 5-year-old boy diagnosed with medulloblastoma (cancer of the brain and spine). Chad's dream was to have a Transformers themed bedroom. Employees came together, donating their time, money, energy, and other items that were needed for this project. Thanks to the generosity of Whitlam's "Dream Team", this family received a complete home makeover.
